At SchoolUnique, we strive to provide exceptional service to all our users. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for fee payments, cancellations, and refunds. Please read this policy carefully before making any payments.

1. Overview
SchoolUnique facilitates fee payment processing for educational institutions. This policy explains how refunds are handled and the respective responsibilities of schools and SchoolUnique.
Important: Currently, there is no online facility to cancel fee payments and get refunds through the SchoolUnique platform. All refund decisions are made by your registered school institution.
2. Payment Processing
2.1 Third-Party Payment Gateways
All fee payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. SchoolUnique does not store or retain your card details or banking information.
2.2 Payment Security
- Payment transactions are handled securely by certified third-party processors
- SchoolUnique never has access to your complete card or banking details
- Each payment gateway operates under its own privacy and security policies
- Refer to your payment provider's terms for additional information
3. Refund Authority and Process
3.1 School's Refund Authority
Schools, not SchoolUnique, have full authority over fee collection and refund determinations.
- Your registered school institution makes all decisions regarding refunds
- SchoolUnique facilitates the payment platform only
- We do not have authority to approve or process refunds independently
3.2 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for fees paid:
- Contact your registered school directly via email or in person
- Provide your payment reference number and student details
- Explain the reason for your refund request
- Follow your school's internal refund procedures and policies
3.3 No Online Cancellation Facility
Currently, there is no online facility available on the SchoolUnique platform to cancel fee payments and obtain refunds. All cancellation and refund requests must be directed to your school.
4. Dispute Resolution
4.1 School-Parent Disputes
Any disputes regarding fee payments or refunds must be resolved directly between parents and the registered school.
SchoolUnique holds no responsibility to resolve these disputes in any manner.

If you experience technical issues with the payment platform itself (not refund disputes), please contact our support team:
5. School Subscription Refunds
5.1 Institutional Subscriptions
For schools and educational institutions with SchoolUnique platform subscriptions:
- Refund terms may vary based on the signed agreement
- Please refer to your specific contract for refund policies
- Contact your account manager for any subscription-related refund requests
- Bulk subscriptions may have different refund terms as outlined in the purchase agreement
5.2 Service Issues
For platform subscription refunds due to service issues:

- Include your subscription ID and details of the issue
- We will investigate and respond within 5-10 business days
6. Payment Method Refunds
When refunds are approved by your school, they will be processed through the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the original card
- Net Banking: Refunded to the source bank account
- UPI: Refunded to the UPI ID used for payment
- Other Methods: Contact your school for alternative refund arrangements
The refund timeline depends on your bank or payment provider and may take 5-10 business days after the school processes the refund.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
We strongly encourage you to resolve payment disputes with your school first before initiating chargebacks:
- Contact your school regarding fee payment disputes
- For platform technical issues, contact our support team
- Chargebacks should be a last resort after exhausting direct communication
- Invalid or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension
8. Currency and Exchange Rates
For international payments:
- Refunds are processed in the original transaction currency
- Exchange rate fluctuations may affect the refunded amount in your local currency
- SchoolUnique and schools are not responsible for currency conversion fees or rate differences
9. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
This policy has been in effect since May 6, 2016, and is subject to periodic updates.
